Chappelle Enterprises is a nationwide pre-employment background screening company which started business in 1997. It is owned by Dave Chappelle, a former police officer with over eight years' experience in law enforcement. Chappelle Enterprises opened its Surveillance Division in 2005 to address client needs for surveillance security cameras, accessories and services including: purchasing / sales, consulting, setup, training and remote monitoring. I have examined the broad array of surveillance systems, but found many to be either too costly or too bulky and difficult to install and maintain. That was, until I came across the X10 brand. At first I didn’t think much until I decided to install them around the outside of the office. Not only were they easy to install, but they were small, and the price was right. I checked out the X10 product line a little more, and come to find out, they had models of security cameras that were just right with all the features we were looking for: pan + tilt + zoom, audio, low light, robotic mounts, battery backups, color, black & white, wireless, hardwired, and last but not least the ability to control and monitor the camera from a remote location. The price was right and I was sold; Chappelle Enterprises now carries the full line of X10 products, listed above and many more.
